Trying to get bird pictures is like fishing. And getting a good one is almost as satisfying.

Taking pictures has been consistently challenging and fun for years now. And whenever I post a picture that I feel is one of the best I’ve ever taken, it gets not likes.

I have conditioned myself to just be satisfied with them, and to completely expect to be ignored.

Been a while since I’ve been on a really long flight. I still can’t really sleep on a plane, I’ll sleep in 45 minute segments if I’m really exhausted.

I loved Hawaii. It’s truly a beautiful place.

Hawaiian Monk Seal sits on the green sand beach. It’s occasionally looked at us then turned its head and went back to sleep.

Went to the volcano yesterday, just missed the latest eruption by a few hours

Caught a 52inch 27 lb Wahoo today. Ended up with 5 fish total, amazing day on the water.

Long day of travel, but Hawaii is lovely.

The days run together too much, it’s amazing how time seemingly gets faster.

I saw one of the you hawks fly today.
