I spent a day troubleshooting my new router. Finally narrowed it down to Ethernet ports and found out it was a broken clip so the cable wasn’t sitting right.

I put my money where my mouth is and spent money on the fediverse. I setup 15 month for peer tube, and 5 dollars a month for micro.blog. I also contributed money to the pixelfed/loops kickstarter. That is really the way forward for social media.

I gotta learn CSS and how to edit this blog. I got the color right and I think the links look better, but I have some fixing up to do.

The walk in the morning is nice, but the reward of this view is a great reason to get up and do this.

A cool partly cloudy morning, Houston skyline with the sun just trying to poke over the buildings. A calm still buffalo bayou in the foreground.

We’re at the time of year where I can catch the sunrise on a clear day.

Sun, just over the horizon on a slightly cloudy morning. Houses in the fore ground

Wireless

I got a new wireless router and it’s great. I hate to have to buy a new one every few years but the technology moves so fast that it seems that way. The new one is so much faster and has so many options for protection, that I feel I gotta keep up. It would be nice to have some static digital technology.

Getting a good picture of a bird is almost as good as catching a fish.

I pointed my domain to this, I feel this could be a long term home for it. Rudygardea.com

the first thing I need to work on is the design of this blog. there are templates that are supposed to be turn key, but I need to figure it out. I

I never know how exactly I’ll use a platform when I start, which is usually one of the best parts, trying to figure it out.
